With this color changing silk you can start you performance by saying that the clown is very sad because he is black and white in a world full of color. The kids are asked to magically take a color that they are wearing and throw it at the clown on the count of three. The black and white clown instantly changes to a full color clown “visibly” with the snap of the silk handkerchief. This is very easy to do. You tell the audience that you are really going to give them the full color show!
