The magician asks a spectator to call out any random time that they can think of. When they do, the named time is written down in full view of the audience and then the paper is clipped to an easel. At this time, you draw attention to a second easel which has been covered with a cloth and sitting on the stage since before the show began. You then ask the spectator who named their time to step on stage and pull the cloth off of the easel. When they do, they will reveal a standard analog clock. The clock hands will be stopped at the exact hour and minute that was named earlier!
