For years, many magic dealers (including ourselves) have made a version of the chair suspension illusion. Now, while this classic of magic looks great on the stage and is really fun almost any type of show, there was always a slight problem with the effect. Once the chair holding the feet in place was removed, the assistant would lower down a few inches. This is not a major issue for most audiences, but it always bothered me and I knew that we could something better. Well, now we have! Introducing our new Ladder Suspension! This illusion has the same basic effect, but provides a much bigger impact on the audience! 

The audience sees two steel stepladders face to face with a board atop the ladders. A person reclines on the board and is briefly covered with a cloth. The ladder supporting their feet is removed leaving them and the accompanying board suspended in the air. The board is removed, and they still remain SUSPENDED IN THE AIR! Everything is returned to it’s original place and the person is dismissed, NONE THE WISER.

This illusion can be performed completely surrounded… on a brilliantly lit stage… well clear of drapes, and other suspicious devices
