In a two-tone rope, half red and half white, the magician ties two knots, one red and one white. Passing the fingers of a hand along the rope the knots tied in both halves change colors. The red knot is seen in the white part and the white knot is in the red part. The effect is immediately repeated. The knots change to their original colors and are finally untied.
The performer introduces another red and white length of rope. He ties the red end of one rope to the white end of the other rope. Some magic passes… suddenly both red ends of the ropes are firmly tied together. For a repeat the performer reties the ropes, a red end to a white end again. In a flash the two white ends of the ropes are tied together!
