A wooden frame is handed out for inspection along with a steel blade. The blade is slid into the top of the frame. A cigarette is placed into the bottom hole, this one being the smallest. The spectator is invited to place his finger through the larger of the holes. You now pass the blade straight through his finger and through the cigarette, breaking the cigarette in to two pieces. The spectator removes his finger and hey presto his finger is unharmed. Again the apparatus can be handed out instantly for inspection.

This does not work like the cigarette chopper sold in every novelty store. It is absolutely examinable before and after the effect. It comes in two sizes. The small size measures 4 by 4 1/2 inches. It has a blade measuring almost 5 1/2 inches long. The large version of the effect is 8 by 9 inches. The blade measures 11 inches long. They are decorated with reflector tape and look very good.
